Based in Red Deer, AB - musical soul mates Dan & Melody Wiklund have harmonized and traveled all over central & western Canada, playing, writing and recording original music with their award winning, acoustic duo.

Wiklund vs Wiklund: two small town, Southern Manitoba “swamp” kids who left everything behind – family, friends, jobs and their humble country beginnings on a pursuit to carve out a little piece of the performance life together in Alberta.

Imports since 2001, married mates Danno & Melody have been actively romancing the Central Alberta music scene for over a decade! Both singers and poets in their own right, Danno is best known for his tasty guitar licks and can pen a lyric of such simplistic beauty, it’ll make yer mother cry! Melody is best known for her engaging stage presence, wild percussion and a raw, powerful voice that commands attention.

These musical soulmates have harmonized and traveled all over mid and western Canada, playing, writing and recording music with such original outfits as the aggressive rock band: Night At The Chelsea, the country soul & roots band: The Well Witchers, and most recently, their acoustic project: Wiklund vs Wiklund. All of which were founded and fronted by this dynamic pair.
