We are a secular authority offering Traditional Home Education. We welcome all Alberta families looking to educate their children at home, including a self-directed high school for credit option. “It’s Home Education, Your Child’s Way”.

Willow Home Ed is the home education unit of Third Academy, a fully accredited private school that has been helping Alberta families achieve educational success since 1997. We offer a professional, non-denominational, parent-directed home education program. We respect and support families in their home education choice.

Our dedicated professional Home Education Managers are themselves experienced homeschooling parents. We offer guidance in accordance with the Alberta School Act and Home Education Regulation, open and transparent communication, a monthly newsletter, a self-directed for credit option for high school, and expertise in supporting students with special needs. We take pride in going the extra mile for our families, serving students and families in every community in Alberta. We recognize the unique needs of each student and encourage our families to find the educational style that works best for them.
