At Wind & Sun Protection Inc. we provide many different types of screens for Wind, Litter, Odor and Dust, however our most popular is our ‘1070’ which provides 60% wind reduction and 70% shade. Complete wind elimination is impossible to achieve without other issues (such as backdraft) arising. Reducing the wind by 60% provides maximum wind reduction and effectiveness without compromising other factors.

Most of our screens are comprised of a combination of wind netting materials. The larger bottom portion often consists of a denser wind netting with 60% wind break, while the upper portion netting has a 50% wind break factor. This combination of netting has proven to be the most effective in wind control without creating backdraft and swirling.

Dust control is a major issue and concern at many industrial job sites. Having a wind fence can help to control dust and limit the wind affecting the job site by up to 60% . Being able to stop and redirect the wind away from stockpiles reduces the dust created by blowing particulates. Wind causes and spreads dust. Our wind screens are a mesh type material, so they do catch flying debris, however we also offer a open mesh material as well.
