Wolf'S Breath Shamanism Description

THERAPEUTIC SHAMANISM – Many psychotherapists in North America now use shamanic healing practices as an adjunct to their regular practice. They have found that shamanic healing is an effective way to help their clients move forward in their lives. Groups like the Foundation for Shamanic Studies have scientifically studied shamanic practices from cultures around the globe and have distilled from those cultures the effective practices that were common to all of them. From this, various methodologies have been developed to help people live happier and more balanced lives. The Foundation provides ongoing training in Shamanic Healing.
THE SPIRIT WORLD – In shamanic practices, non-normal reality is referred to as the “spirit world”. In some eastern beliefs, it might be called the Akashic Field or the Astral Plane. In scientific circles, it could be called the Unified Field. The US army has been using remote viewing in these fields since the 1960’s as a spy tool. This all might sound a little “out there”, but this non-normal reality is very real and many scientific tests confirm this. A shamanic practitioner enters into this non-normal reality to return balance back to a person’s life.
Our Soul is our life force, our essence, that part of us that keeps us alive and thriving. Our ”Soul” or “Energy Field”, is composed of many parts and could be compared to the many pieces of crystal on a chandelier. Sometimes, during the course of our life, trauma can cause us to lose some of these pieces. (Soul Loss) This can come from being bullied, listening to our parents argue or physical and sexual abuse. These missing parts can leave us with a variety of symptoms. Loss of joy, feeling disconnected, depression, unable to make strong decisions, gaps in our childhood memory, low self esteem, anxiety, etc.
SHAMANIC HEALING - Shamanism is the oldest spiritual practice known to mankind. Archaeological evidence shows that Shamanism has been practiced all over the world for over 50, 000 years! Our lives are composed of the physical as well as the spiritual realms. Both need to be in harmony for proper health and good balanced living. Shamanic healing is spiritual healing. If you have ever met someone who doesn’t seem to have any joy in their life is likely suffering from an imbalance in their spirit. The part of them that knows how to be joyful is actually missing! They may feel “stuck” and unable to change even if the desire is there.
SHAMANISM AND MEDICAL CONDITIONS - In order for proper healing to take place, it is important that there be good balance in the Body, Mind and Spirit. Conditions such as depression, anxiety, low energy, repeated illnesses, etc. are all better dealt with when there is proper balance in our complete being. When stress is poorly dealt with in our lives, it can lead to many other health issues. Shamanic healing is healing from the inside – out.
