Hi from Anna of Womb Now Doula Services in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada! My target market is those who are already struggling with an issue and (hopefully) working with a non-profit organization and then find themselves pregnant. I aim to meet with clients as early in pregnancy as possible, and meet often! I carry little in my "Doula Bag" but I always love the "Doula Bag Show & Tell" when we go through the non-material tools I use as well! ! I talk a lot about mindfulness and moon cycles. I offer a sliding scale and bartering because my clientele tends to be low to no income. My background was in Dance, Parenting, and Massage Therapy (especially Thai Massage, which I am still a pratictioner of)! I also practice "Healing Arts by Annastasia" - a personalized blend of healing modalities I have been certified in over the years - both as part of the Doula package as well as for those looking to support the Doula business!
With extensive training and research, as well as access to new research at my fingertips, information is only a click away. With a gentle spirit, soothing voice, and calming presence, I can be the friend who visits the doctor /midwife /hospital /etc with you. With a strong background in therapeutic massage and bodywork, you can ask for the tension-relief you need and actually get it.
