Woody'S Taphouse

Every time I've gone here, on a weekend evening it's 80% empty. You can get beer, some hard liquor with mix but no fancy cocktails. They're not known for their food at this location, although other Woody's are popular in the city. There's lots of room, lots of TVs, and a pool table.

We have been regular customers for a number of years and sad to say this will be our last visit. Food is definitely hit and miss but have definitely determined too many misses to come back. Also disgusted with "bar manager" or our server tonight. She has been here a number of years and customer service is sadly lacking. Rude and obnoxious is the way I see it. Good bye Woodys and good riddance to the server. You might want to consider the same.

There seemed to be a good amount of salt on most everything except the vegetable plate that was quite plentiful in vegetables. Good Ruben although it took at least 15 to arrive. It was good when it showed up. However my dining companions we far less fortunate with the wings. The wings were salty to the point of being inedible. Service was fairly slack on a not so busy night.

Reasonable priced. Never too noisy. Best burgers in South Calgary. The place is very outdated and could use a renovation but then they would have to raise prices. We come here often and hope it can stay in business.

Good local pub to go for a drink. Really good food. Usually ample seating.

Been a regular for a few years and it sad to say but the whole restaurant (service. Food etc) just drop from good times to terrible. Every once in a while we go back thinking it got better but its just worse every time
