Just moved to the city and was out looking to find some Calgary clubs to DJ for .. found 1410 on Wednesday, was told to come down and check out a weekend night . Place was packed and jamming to all my favourite music all night ... great staff , good area .. might even dj Sundays in a months time

JAMIE, let's just start with that. He is so personable, so friendly, so incredibly outgoing. He is complimentary to all clients making each feel special in all ways. This bar is awesome, fun, funky, and the employees are amazing, they go above, beyond and above! Sooo happy with my experience at the bar! What a guy!

I have always had a good time here. The food is very good, and service is excellent, lots of staff on to accommodate them being busy. Their rooftop patio is the place to be this summer. Also they have a very cool patio drinks menu in case you want to try something new!

I had the steak Cobb salad and it was delicious! Drinks were a bit slow on the roof top patio but great service and I really like that they don't use straws! (Unless you ask for one). Will be back!

I don't usually give reviews out but during hockey season, my friend and I wanted to go somewhere for drinks, we found that the pint was packed with people and the service wasn't great, to their defense it was crazy busy, we walked down to look for other places and stumbled upon 1410, the service was great and I'm truly excited to come in again during patio season! Thank you

1410 is one of my favourite bars! Not only the food is amazing the service is fantastic! I usually go on a Saturday night with my gfs and have some food then end the night with dancing to great music! Thank you everyone at 1410 for the great service and showing a great time!!

The fish & chips were very good and the coleslaw was the best I've had. The waitress was very pleasant. But I shouldn't have has to ask for a menu, salt & pepper or malt vinegar.

A very positive experience. I look forward to my next visit.

Good service, nice place. Summer Sangria is delish and so is the Haus Greens Salad! I also had the Apple Bacon Brie( I think it is called) which was ok but I was hoping for better as the chicken was a little on the dry side. Overall good meal, service and atmosphere :) I'd recommend.

It was disappointing that the happy hour wasn't honored by apparently 30 seconds! We arrived 5 min. before the end of the Happy Hour, but by the time we ordered drinks, we were told we missed it! That aside, loved the oysters and yam fries. Service could be better as we were left on our own after our waitress's shift was done.

This has the worst service I've ever experienced. Waitresses only want to help male customers as they think they can flirt their way into a tip. Meanwhile, they can't do the basics of their job. At one point, I had to walk over to the bar and grab my drinks that had been sitting there waiting for the waitress to deliver to me for 20 minutes. I guess I know how to waitress and host better than the ones who actually have the job.

Several friends told me to try this place on a Sat. I was the first person in line and for 45 mins I waited. The doorman kept letting groups of 4 and 5 in ahead of me. No just beautiful girls but ugly ones too. Then when he started letting in guys ahead of me I left. If you don't know the doorman your treated like shit. Never gonna come back.

I've never felt more devalued or under appreciated as a patron in my life. I've been to 1410 many times and have had nothing but great experiences--which is why it's always been my go-to as an out-of-town patron. The waitresses at 1410 used to genuinely care about their patrons--shaking hands and introducing themselves. This was my experience for the past 4 years. I was reminded last night that all good things must come to an end. Our waitress was standoffish from the very beginning. A guy who works for the pub (who took on the persona of a night club bouncer at around 9:30) came over to our table about an hour in and reminded my friend the dress code kicked in at 10:00 and that he would have to remove his hat. He didn't introduce himself--ask us how our night was going--if our dinner was good--it was simply "take off your hat". It was very evident we didn't FIT into the night club atmosphere they were trying to create because we weren't high-fiving every dude that walked into the pub. In spite of the poor service, my friend and I decided to take the high road and leave a great tip (as our waitress was still really quick with our dinner and drinks). She didn't even acknowledge the tip--or wish us a good evening (she simply walked away). I will never step foot in this establishment again. The personalities and genuine service is what made this place great. Both were glaringly absent tonight.
