'What NOT to do in the Hoodoos'... stay safe folks! This young man was lucky... carried out on a backboard, but fortunately was mostly unscathed. Thanks for letting us share this video Jake!

We love it at the Park. The kids and dog go kinda nuts climbing all the hoodoos. It's quiet on Thanksgiving! Great way to spend the last camping weekend.

User

We had such a great time. Clean accessible campsites, and amazing an informative visitors centre and great staff. Special shout out to our tour facilitator Becky. Super knowledgable and she went above and beyond for us. Absolutely my new favourite Alberta camping and exploring spot. Can't wait to come back!

We had a family camp on the last week of April , the weather was warm for the most part. hiking the hoodoos and seeing the writing on stone was great. We had one cold day and thanks to the amenities there , we were toasty warm inside a camp kitchen.playing cards monopoly and we also did a large puzzle. While hiking we saw a beautiful rattlesnake . The warning was heard immediately and we all knew to stay away. And thanks to the information provided we did not aggravate or bother this beautiful creature and we soon realized he didn't,t want to bother us either. this is beautiful place with it,s very own ambiance. Park was well maintained . The birds are amazing , Merlin and juvenile with a nest just above our campsite , entertained us as well.

One of the most majestic parks in Alberta. Every kilometer, every hoodoo and every carving has so much history. Absolutely takes my breath away Everytime I'm here.

User

My family loves this place, we go as much as we can really good place for kids, lots to do.

User

My family and I took a guided tour yesterday and loved it. I want to specially thank our guide Bess who told us so many lively stories about the art. Writing-on-Stone is a remarkable place!

User

Loved this place since I was 10 years old! Visited recently to relive the awe inspiring views. Still a gem in my heart and a beautiful oasis in the prairies!

User

Love WOS! What more could you want in a camping adventure? Hiking in the amazing hoodoos, floating down the river and the camping spots are fantastic! I particularly enjoy hiking there in the winter time!

User

Looking at pictures on the internet made me want to go for an adventure to this amazing park. Pictures do not do this justice, a must see with your own eyes.

User

It was my first time there and we had a wonderful time. I would definitely come here again and spend some time at the center. Beautiful place and looking forward to doing the trails.

User

I returned after 20+ years and it is just as magical. The hoodoo trail offered a great hike (updated trail markers would be good to stay on path) easy enough to navigate.

Loads of birdwatching and a great range of native plants.

Simply breath dating vista's around each corner.

User

I really enjoyed the day I spent there with my wife and two kids. We spent the day hiking the trails filming for our YouTube channel and had a great time. We are planning to go back another time, there is just so much to see!

User

I live about 45 minutes from writing on stone,we spend alot of time there ,it is an excellent place to climb, explore, float the river,or learn about native American culture.I would highly recommend writing on stone as a place for all families to check out! We enjoy our time there and it's great physical activity that enables us to be together as a family and be outdoors. The landscape is one of a kind and for someone that has never been there it is absolutely breathtaking! !

User

Grew up camping here and now I bring my family!! Love the energy of the small park, the Hoodoos as so much fun to climb and there's nothing like a cool float down the milk river after an afternoon of hiking and exploring! Can't wait to go again!!

User

Great place for hiking. Unique and friendly.

User

Fantastic and awesome (in a spiritual sense) location. The campground is tucked in under the hoodoos below the tourist centre, and the hikes are great. Rock Art Tour is a MUST!

User

Awesome park with very walkable trail and a beach that is great for kids. Camp ground looks organise and well facilitated with showers and ample restrooms although we did not camp.

User

An absolutely lovely spot.....the campground is clean and quiet.....I don't think that there is a bad site in the place!

We did the hike twice, and really enjoyed it.....lots to take in......the battle scene drawings were marvellous.

We will be back!

User

We had a great time here. There is a trail to the visitor centre from the campground that takes you right through the hoodoo rock formations. Easy trail with slight incline. Nice staff. Showers are clean but cost $2. Fresh water and dump station. Small camp store. Tour to see ancient rock drawings worth the $19 each.
