It's National Volunteer Week!
Bible translation has always been a team sport. Translation doesn’t happen without people handling finances, keeping computer servers going, designing magazines, maintaining buildings, caring for children, praying and donating. If you added up everyone who's involved along the chain, you're probably going to quickly get to 10-15 in the shadows for every person who's directly engaged in Bible translation.
I’ve always admired the commitment of volunteers who choose to be involved in this work. On behalf of Wycliffe Canada and on behalf of the Buamu, the Quechua, the Dayceck and the Cree, I want to thank our volunteers for offering your time, your energy, your skills and yourselves to this movement. #nationalvolunteerweek
