Youth are challenged with a ten day wilderness experience designed to teach them better decision making skills to avoid a relapse back into their at risk behavior.
Wycp Description
The risk management and equipment, insurance and training needed to deliver this style of program, where youth are left alone in the wilderness for four days, is a challenge in itself. Largely volunteer driven by parents and like minded professional EMO persons who can deal with our combination of youth and wilderness we are using this page to attract as many of those person's to our initiative as possible.
Every year we stage an event we call THE CALL OF THE WILD where we support pledge donors to spend one night camping alone in the bush. This is our main fundraiser to support our camp expenses and we are asking our Facebook friends to help spread the word!
