BOB STEELE'S AFTERNOON MYSTERY WORD- I, like so many others, am saddened to hear the news that Burt Reynolds has passed away. He was 82 and passed away after suffering cardiac arrest. He was involved in a new Quentin Tarantino movie called "Once upon a time," but it's not clear if he had finished shooting his scenes. Many my age will remember him from "Smokey and the Bandit." He was a legend. That's why "LEGEND" is the Afternoon Mystery word today. When you next hear me say it before 6, be caller TEN to win at (403) 736-1031.

XL is a station for the people! Great music and exciting opportunities for the station to support listeners and local initiatives!

XL has the best selection of music and the radio hosts are great at what they do. I love that I can hear a variety of music through the day and never hear the same song twice!

This is an amazing station! Best classic rock to cruise to going home, to work, or even a Sunday drive. Recommend to everyone.

Love, love, love your station. Can't say the same for the app. Very choppy at the start (always) and can't keep it playing for more than 7 minutes and 33 seconds. What am I doing wrong?

Love everything about XL 103 the music is uplifting it makes me smile everyday.

Ive been having similar issues with tuning into XL 103.1 on my PC at work. I log into their web site click listen live and I get this message

“Oops something has gone wrong try again”



Well not matter how many times I’ve tried keep getting the same message. Tried listening from radio Canada app, nope same message.

This just happened for no reason, and have not been able to listen on my PC at work, so disappointed �



Emailed the station, they were very helpful, but are too scratching their heads as they cannot figure out why it won’t work.

Conclusion is I am praying it will fix it self like how it broke it self for no apparent reason.



I have to listen to another station during work, and miss the morning show, and the lovely bob Steele

I've never even been to Calgary in my life but I came across this channel a year ago and it's all I listen to at work and on TuneIn at home !!! Always the best music . Best regards from New Brunswick

I'm loving it !!! In my trade (home renovation) I have to listen to music in order to "keep my rythme" & when the "customer" comes in & I turn the music down (so they're not OFFENDED by it ) they say "no no no don't turn it off !! I like it, it reminds me when I was young" , personally !?? You can't beat that :-)

I would like to thank you for the fantastic music in Kauai Hi. when we were on our family holiday . It was fantastic to be able to sit and relax to great music .

I rediscovered my love of music and XL103.1 in July of this year and I haven't stopped singing or dancing since! Tom Cruise has nothing on me once the radio goes on in the morning!

I grew up with Don, Joanne and Coachie and even though I'm just "30" ; ) we have gotten old together. EVERYONE at the office is awesome - especially, Ms. Jacquie - the official "Ambassador of the Front of the Office". She's warm, welcoming, oh so funny and very professional!

Being a closet musician / DJ, I love going to the Station; but have to fight off my inner "wild child" because I start to sing & dance right a reception! : ) It HAS to be a wonderful place to work, as everyone smiles and like me, isn't afraid to start talking to a complete stranger!

Their slogan of " Life is good..." is brillant - as is the fact of discovering its ok to be a Baby Boomer in Y Y C!

By far, the best hosts on radio in the city of Calgary. My mornings go better with a little XL103. :)

So disappointed that I can no longer get XL103 on my Google HOME, TuneIn Radio has changed something and It will no longer play XL103. I have just have foot surgery and the only way I can access my music is by asking Google Home, all Google says is that it looked for XL 103 and that it is not available or cannot be played right now. It’s been like that for weeks and weeks!
