Good Morning Motivation Monday!
Who needs a little push this morning? I know I sure do.
Ever feel like no matter how many steps forward you take, there seems to always be some road block in your way either stopping you on the spot or you end up taking 3 steps back? Like this deep freeze we have been in for a couple weeks now that initially was to only be 2-3 days when it started. We look at the forecast and get excited for the rise in temperature, only to wake up to another c...old warning. What is there to get excited about anymore when this is what happens?
Yeah, that's me right now, just about some other things in my life. Looking forward to something great, knowing it's going to change your life but then...uh uh uh, where do you think you're going life says. How do we get out of this funk? What can we do about it? We keep going that's what. I don't know about you, but I think the whole things happen in 3's is a bunch of BS, it happens as often as it wants until we learn from it and get through it.
I don't know the answers and I myself am having one hell of a time staying positive and believing that good things are coming when every time I start to believe it and actually start planning for it, something happens to stop me in my tracks and then I'm like WTF life? Can I get a break please?
This message below feels very very real to me but here I am still pushing forward, still fighting for what I want and know I deserve and I AM going to have it. I may have to take an alternate route to get there, but I want it bad enough and I WILL have it. All the annoying crap being thrown in my path? It's just strengthening and teaching me how to get there in a more challenging way but that doesn't mean it's going to stop me.
I know many people believe there is a plan set out for you and no matter what you do, you can't change what is already decided for you, well I call BS on that because what seems to be decided for me is unacceptable and I believe that WE make things happen for ourselves. To an extent, life is uncontrollable but when it comes to the things that we truly in our heart of all hearts want, we have all the control in the world over taking it. The road may not be nicely paved, but it's still a road no less traveled and I have the gear to navigating it.

Good Morning Motivation Monday!
Who else feels like hiding under the covers today? It would be nice, but that doesn't get stuff done!
Now that enrollment is open for the kids and teens photography course, I'm keeping the momentum up and preparing the next step, a course made for adults. There will be different parts to that one and it will be a longer and more in depth program, but it will be open to anyone interested in photography whether you're new or already out there wor...king with clients.
There are so many photographers with new ones every day, and everyone can benefit from education no matter where you're at in your photography. We don't know everything, and even when we think we know it all, we actually don't. In preparing these courses, I myself am learning more as I go and I'm sure after the first or second course, I will have learned even more.
I'm excited to have the opportunity to teach what I know, and learn along the way with you and if I can help even one photographer gain the skills and knowledge necessary to have a successful business if that is what they are aiming for, I'm thrilled to do it.
I would like to help build a community of amazing photographers that work together and don't see each other as someone they have to win a race against. I would like to change the way people think about professional photography and help photographers see their worth and I would like to help the industry get back on it's feet and fill it with professional, trained and legal businesses.
Community over competition, that's what it's about. If we can't support each other, what's the point in doing what we're doing?

This is a 6 week summer program and is mainly programmed for kids and teens but adults may enroll as well.

Good Morning Motivation Monday!
Yesterday the message in my fortune cookie said "Believe in yourself and others will too" so I'm taking that into another day/week.
I'm super excited about some major changes in the works, I am really aiming for making this business fly this year and I won't stop until I get to where I want to be!
... I'm super in love with my new business collaboration with Lethbridge WP Creations and already had my first inquiry for that today. There's more on the way, I'm just getting started but just let me say, I wholeheartedly believe in today's message and that is I DO believe in myself, I believe in my business and I AM unstoppable 😀

Big news to share! I'm super excited for the launch of this collaboration because these castings are so amazing and detailed, not to mention just plain adorable! Remember back when your baby was brand new and so tiny wishing they didn't grow so fast, and missing the little details when they're long gone? To be able to preserve that to have forever, to be able to show your growing child just how small their little hands and feet were, this is a beautiful thing!

Good Morning Motivation Monday!
I don't know about you, but I needed a little help getting going this morning. I'm not a coffee drinker and definitely not a morning person in general but some mornings are tougher than others.
That aside, I opened my door to a couple great kids, one I have been caring for nearly 2 years, the other just 3 months but the parents of these two are very happy with the positive change in their babies and let me know how much they appreciate me. Cari...ng for and teaching children is one of the toughest yet most important and rewarding jobs there is and even though we often have days wondering if we're doing well, doing our best and are making a positive influence on the kids, there come days where a child suddenly does or says something new and you realize that you helped that happen. We might not see big changes and it can take what seems like forever to get to that one moment, but when it does, you feel on top of the world. You realize, it was all the little things, the consistent work and persistence that you think isn't paying off, but it does and comes out in amazing ways.
When the little ones being carried in by their moms reach for me, that is my start in the morning. That is my morning coffee I guess you could say and it feels so great to see parents so happy knowing their child wants to be here, that they trust me and all those small steps, they're actually big ones. All the steps I take in my daily life matter because there was a time where I couldn't make any at all, I was at a stand still for what felt like forever.
Keep stepping forward, even if it feels small and insignificant, something is happening and you will see it.

Good Morning Motivation Monday!
How many times have you wished you could go back in time, start over or erase something that's happened? I do it all the time, and it's really not good for me nor does it change anything so why do it? Old habits are hard to break but they can be broken.
... I've been working on something new and it's intended to help others but it also reminds me of my bad start which in turn pushes me more so to do it for others, so they don't do the same thing I did. Not only can we learn from our mistakes, but so can others.
If you have a chance to start on the right path, do it because while you may have the opportunity later to change directions, it might be one difficult turn and road to navigate.
If you're like me and working through making a new start, just keep at it even if the road is bumpy because often rough roads lead to amazing destinations with a great view.
